StormIQ 3.0 is the most significant upgrade to the StormIQ platform since introducing StormAnalytics™ in September 2006. Most excitingly is the introduction of StormOptimiser 2.0 which features Profile Campaign Management™. Additionally there are some great improvements to the general layout and usability of the interface.

What is StormOptimiser 2.0?
StormOptimiser 2.0 introduces Profile Campaign Management; a revolutionary tool to optimise and manage paid search campaigns.
Profile Campaign Management enables PPC marketers to create custom reports (a profile) using multiple data sources and then create tasks to be executed against the output from the report. These reports can be saved as profiles, reopened and run against different date ranges. Saved profiles can also have tasks scheduled to automatically optimise the campaign according to highly customisable business rules defined within the profile. StormOptimiser 2.0 works seamlessly with Google, MSN, and Yahoo Search Marketing.
The Profile Campaign Manager consists of 3 main components:
1) Profiles – The profile is a subset of your PPC campaign where you can set which fields you want displayed and what filters to apply at each level of the campaign. The unique campaign navigation means navigating through the various levels has never been easier or clearer.
2) Tasks - are actions defined for a Profile. You choose from a set of actions (e.g. pause ad group, change bid price etc), pick the parameters you wish applied and save it within a Profile. Tasks are applied to the output from the profile, i.e. if you filter a campaign by ad group=”brand” and have a task to pause keywords, Storm will only pause the keywords in the “brand” ad group.
3) Schedules - allow you to schedule any of your tasks. Schedules are highly customisable and can be created for one off events or recurring optimisations. For example if you require the pausing of a campaign on Christmas Day, or if you need to increase the bid price during office hours and reduce it outside of office hours.
